I am an American living in Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany and I'd like to become a massage therapist. I am sure there are school somewhere (because spas are so popular here). But l do not know if they have English-speaking ones for Americans. So l need to know if they do and if so where? Prehaps the ones that are closest to me? The nearest big city to me is Kaiserslautern (sp?) if that helps any..Also how long does schooling for this usually take to become certified?

Where can I become a certified massage therapist in Germany

Go to the nearest 'Arbeitsamt' they can give u all the information that u need some of them should speak good English.
Here in Germany u have to learn for any job 2 to 3 years .
They r many people who r no German Nationals,but eather way u have to go through the German system.
So i would learn German ASAP.
Check on Post they always offer German classes & i think its free or only little cost.
Or u go to a German school they offer at evening times German classes,but they cost u some $$$.

Go to the Arbeitsamt & they will get u all the info u need ....(they will let u know too if u would need a work permit).
